FAQs
The Ortho Production Toolkit is a collection of powerful automated tools for the orthorectification and mosaicking of aerial and satellite imagery.
The module includes tools for the automatic collection of airphoto fiducial marks, multi-way tie-points and ground control points (GCPs) for image registration and true orthorectification, as well as automated mosaicking, including automatic color balancing and cutline selection.
For more info related to the Ortho Production Toolkit please refer to this document.
Object Analyst is an add-on package for CATALYST that provides tools for segmentation, classification, and feature extraction.
Object Analyst includes an all-in-one interface within CATALYST that is designed to guide you through segmenting your imagery, extracting features, creating training sites, classification (including creating custom rules for classification), reforming shapes, and performing an accuracy assessment.
For more info related to the Object Analyst please refer to this document.
The Air Photo Ortho Suite, as well as the ADS Ortho Suite, both include rigorous models used to correct the geometry of analogue and digital cameras and to produce orthorectified air photos. These models compensate for the effects of varying terrain and for the distortions inherent to a camera, such as the curvature of the lens, focal length, perspective effects, and the camera’s position and orientation. The computed math model calculates the camera’s position and orientation when an image is taken.
For more info related to the Air Photo Ortho Suite and the ADS Ortho Suite please refer to this document.
The Satellite Ortho Suite includes rigorous and rational function models developed to compensate for distortions and produce orthorectified satellite images for high resolution and low resolution sensors. Distortions caused by the platform (position, velocity, and orientation), the sensor (orientation, integration time, and field of view) the Earth (geoid, ellipsoid, and relief), and the cartographic projection (ellipsoid and cartographic) are all taken into account using these models. The models reflect the physical reality of the complete viewing geometry and correct all distortions generated during the image formation.
For more info related to the Satellite Ortho Suite please refer to this document.
The Radar Ortho Suite includes rigorous and rational function models developed to compensate for distortions and produce orthorectified radar images. Distortions caused by the platform (position, velocity, and orientation), the sensor (orientation, integration time, and field of view) the Earth (geoid, ellipsoid, and relief), and the projection (ellipsoid and cartographic) are all taken into account using these models. The models reflect the physical reality of the complete viewing geometry and correct all distortions generated during the image formation.

The Interferometric SAR (InSAR) package can be used to generate topographic products to
characterize digital surface models (DSMs) or deformation products which identify subtle changes in surface elevation due to land subsidence.
Although it is possible to generate very high quality DSMs, the emphasis has been placed upon the generation of multiple layers of deformation products which can be easily co-registered into temporally ordered stacks for long term analysis of subsidence patterns.
The package has been developed to provide a commercial, end-to-end, interferometric processing, temporal analysis, and visualization capability designed to significantly reduce the processing requirements and operational constraints encountered by non-SAR experts.
For more info related to the InSAR please refer to this document.
After your purchase, we will prepare the order and inform you via email step by step on how to access the service. For getting access to the VM, you would need to to download and install Remote Desktop.
When you purchase a CATALYST Professional bundle, you purchase a license to use it for 1 or 12 months, depending on the plan. Before the license expires, we will notify you in order to manually renew your subscription.
